Duties of Parents
JOHN CHARLES RYLE, MOST FAMOUSLY KNOWN AS THE FIRST ANGLICAN BISHOP OF LIVERPOOL. WAS A MAN WHOSE SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE COULD SCARCELY BE FOUND TODAY. A STUDENT OF SCRIPTURE AND A MAN OF PRAYER, HE CAME TO KNOW GOD INTIMATELY. HE WAS John Charles Ryle, most famously known as the first Anglican bishop of Liverpool, was a man whose spiritual knowledge could scarcely be found today. A student of Scripture and a man of prayer, he came to know God intimately. He was describe as having a commanding presence, and vigorous in advocating his principles, albeit with a warm disposition.
This small booklet is a beginner's manual for what Christians ought to intend for successful childrearing. In an age where our children are being lost to the world at a worrisome pace, Ryle gives us the tools and focus needed to "train up our children in the way they should go." (Prov. 22:6)
