The Church Stands Corrected: 1 Corinthians
As I travel around the country, and when I read various religious periodicals, I'm increasingly concerned about the signs of carnality and the indifference to biblical truth that I observe. Denominations and individual assemblies of believers alike are failing to heed the Bible's admonition to maintain their doctrinal and moral purity, and as a result, the blessing of the Lord is lost.
Some of the very attitudes and problems being encountered today were present in the church at Corinth. I've written this analysis of 1 Corinthians, therefore, with the purpose and prayer that we might see the need for the church to cleanse itself from sin and safeguard the truths of God's holy Word.
A project like this is not done alone. I want to express sincere appreciation to my faithful secretary of many years, Mrs. Marth a Brown, for her patient and valuable assistance. A word of thanks is also in order to Clair Hess, Director of Publications for Radio Bible Class, and to David Egner, for their editorial help.
